Mobility Help Desk, Procurement, Lifecycle Management
Mobile technology has completely altered the way companies conduct business today. In addition, the US economic statistics show that mobility data is doubling on annual basis. In this presentation we will discuss how the rapid changes in mobile technology has created new challenges around managing the mobility estate. We will discuss at a high level how company policies and security threats, impact mobile help desk, procurement, and lifecycle management. The goal is for the audience to take away some new ideas on how to effectively manage this growing space and how to identify any potential gaps in their current processes.

Vince Cobb - (CBI Telecom) and Josh Verhuist - (Tech Defenders)
Vince Cobb is the Director of Operations for CBI Telecom Consultants, and is responsible for managing the CBI help desk, procurement, and device recycling teams. Our team at CBI currently has over 80,000 devices under management. Vince is an industry expert in mobility and has over 20+ years of experience within the industry.
Josh Verhulst is the Director of Business Development at Tech Defenders - a Grand Rapids based IT Asset Disposition company. Josh is responsible for forming new partnerships and programs to ensure a consistent inbound flow of product to their facility. Tech Defenders picks up and fully processes approximately 30,000 devices each month. Josh will provide insights regarding the benefit of asset disposal and best practices to ensure a successful lifecycle management program.
