Maximizing Return on Investment with Proactive Change Management

Thursday, April 13, 2023

11:30 am - 1:00 pm EDT

Lunch will be provided

Initiatives or projects that bring change to your organization almost always require individuals to do their jobs differently in some way. Updating or replacing existing systems and business process redesigns are common examples, but there are many more. Change Management focuses on proactively managing the "people side" of change to drive results and increase ROI. Join us on April 13th to learn more about how change management can help you achieve better outcomes on your change initiatives!

Speaker:

Karen Buckwalter, Dewpoint

Karen is the Change Management Practice Lead at Dewpoint, an IT Consulting firm headquartered in Lansing. She has over 30 years of program, project and change management experience and has led several large change initiatives throughout her career in both the public and private sectors.

As a change leader, Karen is a Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner, PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Scaled Agile SAFe® Program Consultant (SPC). When she isn't helping her clients drive successful change, she enjoys traveling and visiting with friends and family.

Lunch provided thanks to our sponsor TekSystems!

"I love the peer groups that CAITC has established. I love that I can connect, network, and learn from local IT professionals in my field. I also appreciate connecting with peer groups that I don’t always identify with and learn about opportunities to support and advocate for others. Thank you CAITC for building this community, both in person and virtually!"

Brittni Schumacher
Manager

"As a founding member of the Capital Area IT Council, our small IT firm has benefitted immensely from our continued participation in the CAITC. I have personally benefitted from CAITC-sponsored training programs, such as the IT Project Management course that I attended, which in turn has helped me to better manage clients/projects and generate new business for my company, while also creating new opportunities to grow professionally."
